In a significant step toward advancing Liberia’s investment agenda, NOVA Africa Ventures has formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Investment Commission (NIC) to host the 2024 Liberia Investment Conference (LIC).
The signing of the MOU underscores the Government of Liberia’s whole-of-government commitment to catalyzing private sector investment, enhancing cross-sector collaboration, and unlocking new economic opportunities across the nation. Through this strategic partnership, the LIC will serve as Liberia’s premier platform for convening global investors, policymakers, and development partners.
Scheduled for August 5–8, 2024, the Liberia Investment Conference will spotlight investment opportunities across key sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, energy, tourism, and mining. Under the leadership of H.E. President Joseph N. Boakai, and in collaboration with government ministries and agencies, the event will showcase Liberia’s strategic vision for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
“This partnership reinforces our administration’s priority to create the conditions necessary for private sector investment and sustainable national development.” — H.E. Joseph N. Boakai
NOVA Africa Ventures will work closely with the National Investment Commission and other government stakeholders to ensure a coordinated, high-level engagement experience for all conference participants.
